Chris’ musical upbringing combined with a genuine interest for the arts have given him musical knowledge beyond his years and a song library to match. His DJing career began in 2010 whilst doing a music production degree and he was fortunate to have his first gig in the prestigious Mayfair nightclub ‘Funky Buddha’. Since then, he’s played in many venues across the U.K. including Slug & Lettuce, Amazing Grace, Raffles (Chelsea) and Miranda.
Throughout the 10’s Chris was also tour DJ to 90’s Dance legend and MOBO Award Winner Baby D. He still occasionally joins her on stage. The experience he has gained over the years has led him to playing a private party for a Forbes-recognised individual and multiple international events in Portugal and France.
In previous years, when not behind the decks, Chris has dabbled in producing and writing. In 2023, he got back into the studio with a clear vision of his sound as a DJ and artist. His first rework of Cleo Sol’s ‘Why Don’t You’ was featured on DJ Spoony’s ‘The Good Groove’ Show on BBC Radio 2. His passion is deeply rooted in anything with a groove. Soulful House, Disco, Afro House, Soul, Funk and R&B are his favourite genres. It’s no surprise that one of the highlights of his career so far is sharing the stage with one of his Idols, Trevor Nelson.
When it comes to playing corporate gigs, Chris is no stranger to some of the world’s biggest brands. Google, Sky and Lind Group (Triumph Motorcycles, Porsche, BMW Motorcycles and Harley Davidson), are only a few names he’s worked with.
Chris is known for being a true open-format DJ with his ability to blend between genres. He is frequently complimented on his ability to read the room and play to what the crowd is feeling in the moment. When not playing out, you can hear Chris on ‘The Groove Show’ which he presents weekly on Shoreditch Radio. The demand for Chris’s skilled sets and infectious energy is only set to rise.
